Knoxville Engagement Session at Pretentious Beer
From the moment I first walked into Pretentious Beer Co., I knew I had to take a couple here for an engagement session. Fast-forward to over two years later and I finally got my wish. For many it may be the awesome selection of craft beer they offer that lures them in to this bar in The Old City of downtown Knoxville. Well supposedly great variety; I wouldn’t know (wheat allergy), but the neat artwork on the wooden panels sure make them look intriguing. But as a lover of art, it was the unique hand-blown glassware and beer tap handles made by Pretentious Glass Co. that grabbed my attention. I highly suggest checking this place out even if it is just for their kombucha in a cool glass.
Before engagement sessions, I like to meet couples at a coffee shop or bar to sit down and go over what they are about to experience during the photo shoot. It’s a great way to break the ice because I don’t generally bring my camera in with me. Well needless to say, I had to make an exception for this one. When I first spoke with Mallory about their passions and hobbies getting ideas for their personalized engagement session location, she mentioned that her and Tyler enjoy visiting breweries from time to time… I knew instantly where we were meeting! And this was only the first stop.
