Michele and Jason are so full of life. The first time I talked with the bride-to-be and she mentioned her fiancé proposing on a black sand beach in Iceland, I knew we were going to get along just fine. Little did I know how much I would genuinely fall in love with their essence. The way they look at each other is captivating. The endless laughter and smiles made for some awesome memories with these two.
I've been able to spend quite a bit of time with this beautiful couple getting to know them and hearing all about their adventures. It feels even more personal because they are the first couple I have brought to my own land in Maryville, TN for their engagement session. We attempted to shoot at their tiny home outside Nashville originally, but we were hit with a monsoon five minutes in. Instead I received a tour of Jason's tiny home built himself, learning how from watching Youtube videos. Super cool! I even had the chance to have a photo I captured of them on the Pickler & Ben show. The designers of the show did a surprise makeover so Michele would feel right at home when she moved in after the wedding. Check out the video below. Listen to how sweet Jason's words are when he shares about Michele. A second episode will be airing soon with wedding photographs.
Their creative souls spilled over into the wedding as they designed everything themselves. Michele made all the floral arrangements from paper, engraved the table numbers, made all signage, printed the stationery, and she even sewed her own veil. These crafty makers can do it all! I love how they create their dreams and put so much personality into everything.

The bride and her crew had a slumber party the night before the big day at a stunning designer home, The Nashville Zen House. When I walked in my jaw dropped, and Michele told me she knew I would love the space. The home was all I could want for pre-wedding photos. Michele and her bridesmaids made themselves right at home, and she even got to bring her fur babies along. If you're interested in book an Airbnb, use this link and save $40.

VINE STREET CHRISTIAN CHURCH WEDDING CEREMONY
THE HORTON BUILDING WEDDING RECEPTION
If you've spent any amount of time with me, you know that I'm obsessed with crystals. When I saw this wall of place cards I did a happy girl dance. The history makes it even more meaningful because this isn't random findings purchased for the wedding. Each one of these crystals were collected from their adventures of stone mining on vacations in Gatlinburg.
